You must make your own reservations and get roomate(s) lined up to share costs
and work out the financial arrangements between you. Contact the hotel and discuss your options. Check the database on our Yahoogroup website for info on people needing roomies. The rooms are not blocked, so make your reservations early. April is a busy time for the Hill Country and rooms may fill up fast. This is a brand new hotel that just opened November 2008, but a popular chain that people like to book. They will give us the fall rates when we call even though it will be spring when we visit and the rates are higher in that peak time.

Directions: Drive IH35 from either north or south and get off on Exit 217 FM 967 Buda. The hotel is on the east side of I-35 so if coming  from south, you'd cross over and turn south on the frontage road to the hotel. 

Room Rates per night: 
(If  you  need a Handicap room, let the desk know after you tell them you are with the Lone Star State Knitters).

1 King:  $89.00 per night

2 queen: $99.00 per night

1 King Extended with couch that makes into a bed:$109 per night

2 Queen Extended with couch that makes into a bed: $115 per night

Deluxe  Suite with separate living and bedroom with one King Bed and couch in living that makes into a bed: $139.00 per night

Meeting Room: $250 for the weekend

I think all rooms have Microwave and small Fridge (ask when you make reservations to make sure)

All rooms have high speed internet connection.

Fitness Center & Free Continental Breakfast

I have reserved the Meeting Room for the weekend  for us to meet in all weekend so that we won't have to cram into somebody's room.

One scenario: Extended Queen will accomodate 3 women with 2 queen beds and sofa bed.

Several restaurants in the area:  Chili's, Cracker Barrel, Bill Miller, Culver's, Garcia's and a new little Italian place on Main Street in Old Town Buda - plus several fast food places - Whataburger, Jack in the Box, Dan's Hamburgers, Taco Bell, Arby's etc.  Plus a wealth of places at Southpark Meadows just north of Buda.
